Protection Plan

What is the Befitting Protection Plan?
The Befitting Protection Plan offers you protection beyond your eyewear warranty. We are proud to offer high quality eyewear but sometimes unpredictable moments in life happen that may damage your eyewear. Your vision is important to us and the Befitting Protection Plan offers coverage to replace broken or damaged eyewear.
How much is the Befitting Protection Plan?
The Befitting Protection Plan is valued at $29.99. It is a one time fee paid at the time of purchase. We will never ask for additional payments for copays or shipping if you need to utilize your plan.

Protection Plan Coverage

What is covered under the Befitting Protection Plan?

The Befitting Protection Plan covers breaks and damage to your prescription eyewear. Accidents happen and if your eyeglasses are damaged in a fall, drop, act of pet or child or many other unexpected circumstances, we will replace your eyewear with a new pair. Yes, a brand new pair. A few examples of what is covered can be found below.

Frame:
Warping or breakdown; cracked frames; damaged frame; vision-impeding damage; damage from pets such as from beaks, teeth, and claws; any other breakage that prevents you from using your eyewear as intended.

Lenses:
Scratches to lenses that impair the Iine of vision, affecting visual acuity; delamination and/or peeling of lens coating, bubbles, or imperfections in lens coating.

Do you repair or replace the broken eyewear?
If you find yourself with a broken or damaged pair of eyewear covered by the Befitting Protection Plan, we will replace them with a brand-new pair.
Can I transfer my protection plan to a different pair?
When you purchase the Befitting Protection Plan, it will be attached to they original eyewear selection. It cannot be transferred to another pair of glasses.
Can I add a protection plan to my sunglasses?
The Befitting Protection Plan is available for any prescription eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses. However, it is not available for sunglasses purchased without a prescription.
Can I purchase a protection plan at a later date?
The Befitting Protection Plan is not available to add to your prescription eyewear after your complete your purchase or after receiving your new eyewear.
How many eyeglasses are covered by my plan?
It is one Befitting Protection Plan per pair. If you are considering more than one pair, you will want to purchase a Befitting Protection Plan for each pair.
When does coverage start?
Your coverage starts from when your new eyewear ships to you! Watch your email box for your Befitting Protection Plan confirmation with your plan details. Your plan is valid for 12 months (1 year).
Is there anything that is not covered?
If you find yourself with a broken or damaged pair of eyewear covered by the Befitting Protection Plan, we will replace them with a brand-new pair.
How long is the coverage?

The Befitting Protection Plan is covers your new eyewar for the first 12 month (1 year).

Return Policy

Is the Befitting Protection Plan refundable? Can I cancel?

If you decide within 30 days of your purchase that you would like to cancel your Befitting Protection Policy but keep your new eyewear, our Customer Care team can assist you with the cancellation and refund the $29.99. Our Customer Care team can be contacted via chat, email help@befitting.com or by phone Call 1-833-BEFITTING . Please have your order number ready and we will help you with the rest.

If I return my eyewear, will the Protection Plan be refunded?
Yes, we offer a 30 day risk-free purchase policy. You can return your eyewear, including the Befitting Protection Plan and receive a full refund for your purchase.

No, this is an additional service we offer to give you an added layer of protection from life's accidents.

Make a Claim

How can I make a claim?

All you need is a picture of your damaged eyewear to kick off your claim. Yep, that’s it—no forms, no fuss.

Making a claim is easy and we offer three options to initiate your claim.

Do I have to fill out a form?

No forms, no fuss! We will simply need a picture of your damaged eyewear and verify your coverage. Then we create a replacement order for you, new frame and lenses, to be delivered to your home. Easy as that.

What do I do with my broken eyewear?

Once we have obtained a picture of your broken eyewear, we do not need them. Anything after that is up to you!

Can I change my selection with the replacement?

Your Befitting Protection Plan will replace your damaged eyewear with the same prescription, same frame and same lens as originally purchased.

Is there any additional fees when making a claim?

No, there are no hidden fee, deductible or co-pay.  We are going to cover your standard shipping also! Literally, no additional fees for your replacement pair.

Replacement Eyewear

How many replacements?

You’re covered when we ship your eyewear and lasts for one (1) year.

How will my replacement pair be shipped?

Your replacement pair will have standard shipping.

How long will it take to make my replacement pair?
The replacement eyewear will need to be manufactured, like your original pair. In most cases, your new eyewear will be delivered to your door within 15 business days.
